Our Privacy Policy
2Ya's policy is to respect and protect the privacy of our users and
we never sell, trade or share your information. However please note that
ICANN the governing body that oversees domain registrations requires that
all domain names have accurate contact information for each domain's registrant
made public in the global WHOIS database. This contact information includes name, postal, phone and email of the registrant. If you do not
want this information listed in the public WHOIS database, you may request
from us a proxy listing where we will hold your information in escrow and
only reveal it should ICANN or our parent registrar eNom request it.
2Ya may disclose user information in special cases when we have reason to believe
that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against
someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or
unintentionally) 2Ya rights or property, other 2Ya users, or anyone else that
could be harmed by such activities. 2Ya may disclose user information when we believe
in good faith that the law requires it.
Our site uses an online ordering system which enables clients to register domain names online,
as well as access other products or services offered by 2Ya.
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss,
misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Any credit card or other
sensitive information you enter is transmitted via SSL, a very strong encryption technology
which is the Internet standard for safety and security.
The importance of security for all personally identifiable information associated with our members is of utmost concern to us.
We exercise great care in providing a secure transmission of your information from your PC to our servers.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can
be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, 2Ya.com can't ensure or warrant the
security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk.
Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
Your credit card number is not stored on our server. Unlike many other services, we have chosen not
to take up such practices. Your browser transmits it to our server through a 128-bit secure-socket layer.
It then passes immediately through a secure gateway to our credit card processor who's entire business
and infrastructure is dedicated to securely processing and handling credit card information. We only
store the last 4 digits of your card so that you can recognize it later should you wish to choose to use the
same card in future purchases or domain renewals. In such cases, we submit a transaction request to our
credit card processor with the last 4 digits of your card number. They match it to the complete card
information stored on their secure credit card servers. If you do not wish to store this information,
you can simply clear out the billing info in your 2Ya account and we will transmit a request to remove
all credit card data. Using this method of e-commerce is actually more secure. You will never need to
type in your credit card number and transmit from your browser or through our server unless you should
choose to use a new card number.
